Relaxing Hiking Day Vía Verde

, Seville

First, I still wanted to write a bit about a hiking day trip that we did on March 25.

If you take the C3 train to the north of Seville and get out at the last station, Cazalla-Constantina, you arrive at the start of the Vía Verde (Green Way) hiking route.

It will lead you through the Sierra Norte park. Obviously, the route had lots of green (wow) and it was quiet with the only noise coming from animals, other people who were hiking and water.
We had lots of sun and saw various farms with lots of animals, mostly goats, cows, cats, and there were also two super cute doggos that are also in the photos.

Although it was just the end of March it was already quite hot. So even though I'd love to hike again, it might be too torturous now.
We already had temperatures of 38°C in the end of April.

Walking through San Nicolás del Puerto, we could reach the Cascada del Huesna (waterfall), which was the most beautiful scenery of the route.
You could even walk down next to the waterfall a bit, but as we wanted to take a bus from San Nicolás del Puerto to the train station of El Pedroso, we didn't have enough time anymore.

From El Pedroso we took the train back to Seville.
It was a great day and one of my favorite ways to spend a day. Maybe in June or July I could explore more hiking routes if it's not too hot.
